The face of pharmacy is changing!
We are seeking expressions of interest from Queensland pharmacists to be part of the Queensland Community Pharmacy Scope of Practice Pilot.
Queensland is leading the way, as community pharmacists continue to play a vital role in evolving pharmacy care by providing patients with timely and accessible healthcare services. This incredible opportunity not only will transform your career, but provide you with new opportunities to serve your patients and experience a more rewarding community pharmacy future.
Community pharmacists taking part in the statewide Pilot will be required to complete up to 12-months of postgraduate education and training, including 120 hours of learning in practice that supports hands-on experience.
Education and training for pharmacists for the rest of Queensland is expected to commence in early 2024, with the Australasian College of Pharmacy partnering with Queensland Universities to deliver the training.
Pharmacists currently enrolled for the North Queensland Pilot will be the first to offer patients new treatments for everyday health conditions with occasions of service due to commence in March 2024.
The formal registration process will be open soon. In the meantime, make sure you stay up-to-date with the latest developments by registering your interest below.
*please note – completion of this form is confirming your interest in the Pilot and is not a registration to participate. Registration will be offered at a later date.
